The passenger liner that followed from Istanbul to Moscow was struck by lightning.

The lightning bolt hit the passenger aircraft while the aircraft was in Turkish airspace, however, due to the fact that the airbus A320 systems did not inform the crew about any problems, the decision to return to Istanbul airport was not taken. Later, upon the arrival of the airliner to the capital airport "Sheremetyevo", specialists managed to detect a trace from a lightning strike, however, no damage was caused to the aircraft.

It should be clarified that for most modern passenger airliners, getting lightning discharges in them is not critical, while for light aircraft it usually ends tragically.
