The trip to the stratosphere itself is rather a research experiment, however, if such a flight becomes possible, it is possible that in the future, aircraft builders will also submit to great heights.

The SolarStratos aircraft has a fuselage length of 8,5 meters and has a wingspan of 24,9 meters, which allows it to soar slowly using upstream energy, thereby minimizing electrical energy consumption.
