Poland decided to abandon Soviet aircraft in favor of American ones.

As noted by the Polish authorities, the decision to cancel the Soviet combat aircraft MiG-29 and Su-22 was made on the basis of the fact that these aircraft are already obsolete and require costly repairs, thus, it was decided to use American planes F-16 and F -35.

Independent experts believe that such a decision by Poland is very reckless, because immediately replace all aircraft of the Soviet model is unlikely, since it would require large financial investments, in addition, as is known, F-16 American fighters do not have a high reliability, not to mention the efficiency of its use.
