This afternoon, the departure of a passenger flight from Shanghai to Guangzhou was postponed because an elderly passenger threw several coins into the engine of the airliner, believing that it would bring good luck. Thanks to the vigilance of the airport staff, the launch of the aircraft engines was postponed, and the elderly lady herself was detained until the circumstances were clarified, while the experts did not exclude the possibility that a woman could face a large fine.
