The new helicopter was to attain a compact size, and as a result, become a very popular means of transport, which contributed also fairly low cost per copy, which stood in the year 2010, 57 just a thousand dollars.

Despite the relatively simple construction, helicopter GEN H-4 has high reliability, ensuring their complete safety in flight, which was confirmed by dozens of tests and the subsequent use of the aircraft, which, unfortunately, due to its limited capacity, and do not I was able to gain wide popularity among the public.

To ensure a sufficiently high reliability, the GEN H-4 helicopter is equipped with four two-cylinder GEN 125-F aircraft engines, each of which has its own thrust of 10 hp. The use of a large number of aircraft engines is mainly due to the fact that even if two of them fail, the helicopter will still be able to continue its flight, which in fact is safe for the pilot. The total power of the GEN H-4 helicopter's power plant is 40 hp, which provides the aircraft with the ability to fly at a cruising speed of 85 km / h, with the ability to accelerate to a maximum of 125 km / h. The maximum flight range of the GEN H-4 model aircraft is 120 kilometers, which is quite acceptable.

GEN H-4 does not have its own cabin - in fact, there is only an armchair for the pilot and levers for controlling the aircraft, which in its essence facilitates the weight of the aircraft. Any discomfort for the pilot during the flights is not created, because even with a high speed of movement, the drag is minimal, however, the use of a protective helmet is still one of the basic requirements for the operation of this model. For transporting any goods, the GEN H-4 helicopter is not suitable for a number of reasons presented above.

The Japanese company «GEN Corporation» is releasing the following model helicopter GEN H-4:
