Transas WATCH-100 Multipurpose UAV
"Dozor-100" was developed by ZAO "RET Kronstadt" and manufactured by the company "Transas". It is a development of the "Dozor-5" platform in terms of increasing the duration and range of flight. The equipment of the device with an elongated wing made it possible to reduce fuel consumption in cruise flight mode and improve the quality of the airframe. Inside the fuselage, the exhaust system is hidden, this has a positive effect on improving sound insulation and ensuring the low visibility of the aircraft. The location of the power plant in the stern of the airframe allowed to rationally place the payload and free space for installation on board various antenna devices. Thanks to the V-tail, the correct alignment of the airframe is ensured, where the engine is located in the tail section. The forward part of the fuselage is allocated for placement of the front-view radar.
Aft of the UAV is powerplant. With this placement could conduct rational layout of payload, releasing the bow seat to accommodate a forward-looking radar.
At the present time issued 2 instance UAV "Dozor". The first flight of the UAV was made of 30.11.2011
The results of state tests were successful. The main feature of the Dozor-100 UAV is its excellent aerodynamic characteristics. In one of the test flight engine failure occurred. However, after overcoming the distance in the 3 kilometer and making an emergency landing on the field, only the front landing gear was broken. The UAV was completely repaired and sent to continue passing the state test program.
