Tempest VINDICATOR

Vindicator is a multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle developed by the Australian company Tempest Aviation Pty Ltd. The drone is a tactical observation-surveillance device of short-range. It is equipped with a different set of infrared, optical and electronic sensors installed below the design of the device. UAV is equipped with a six-cylinder engine of its own production, which runs on diesel fuel and has the power of 105 HP. Also, the Jabiru 2200 gasoline engine (horsepower 80 power) received a part of the devices produced in their equipment. UAV performs the launch by taking off from a poorly prepared runway. The UAV Vindicator was first shown to the general public at AUVSI '98 (Hastville, Alabama, USA) in 1998 year.
