The power plant helicopter

Powerplant (SU) consists of a helicopter engine of its attachments, air intake, output devices, channels and systems: engine control, fuel, oil, fire protection. Type engine, its characteristics are determined by the number and location of the design process.

The engine management system serves to provide SU both separately and simultaneously control engine power and changing their mode throughout the range from idle to maximum and vice versa. The engine management system SU on the ground and in flight should provide:

• - setting the preset operating mode of the engine in the expected operating conditions;
• - starting and stopping the engine;
• - control of a fire-fighting crane.
