Marking helipad

Labelling or marking helipad (CAP) - one of the most basic elements of a landing area for helicopters. That depends on it a certain degree of safety. Particularly acute is felt at night because of reduced visibility. It is also important to keep the reflective ability markup VI. During bad weather or other adverse weather conditions severely hampered visibility for the pilots.

Efficiency at markings VI is provided with regard to certain factors:

1) luminance factor;

2) clutch gear ratio (regardless of the state of water);

3) durability;

4) fragility colored film;

5) the thickness of the marking layer;

6) the adhesion of paint to the airfield pavements.

Disadvantages quality marking VP mainly occur where in use are outdated marking materials. For example, nitrocellulose or epoxy enamel. It may even be a little white.

Due to the fact that enamels are a large number of volatile substances formed unacceptably thin layer labels. That, in turn, means a huge cost overruns enamel. Because of this, begin the negative processes - deteriorating paint adhesion and increases the fragility of the marking film.

Marking VP should be carried out purely by hand. The marking itself is carried out with acrylic enamel of white, orange, yellow or red colors.
