Rapier - Serbian unmanned aerial vehicle developed in 2015, the company «EdePro».

Design of unmanned air tool started by Serbian experts in the field of aerospace technology in 2013 year. New project originally was exclusively military purposes, however, subsequently «EdePro» Company management does not rule out that on the basis of the military versions can be created and civil modification of the drone, which predisposes especially high demand for such devices.

UAV Rapier model is made in the copter configuration, moreover, not by chance, since according to the manufacturers, this design is perfectly suited for special military missions, which should include reconnaissance, conduct electronic warfare, carrying out patrol and surveillance flights, fire support military units, etc. This is due primarily to the fact that this configuration tool allows unmanned takeoff and landing even in low visibility conditions.

As a means of tracking and surveillance unmanned aerial Rapier electro-optical device is installed, thermal and infrared cameras, that allows the device to be used for any time of day. Among other things, an unmanned vehicle is also fitted with a radar and a device that allows you to track the movement and air targets, which are also very effective.

Serbian drone equipped with six small rockets that allow to destroy large clusters of potential enemy forces as well as unarmored or lightly armored vehicles.

Powerplant drone shows a piston engine, which allows the unmanned aircraft to accelerate to speed in 200 km \ h., While the duration of the autonomous flight of 6 hours.
