QAE 108-100 - Mexican multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle developed in 2012, the company «Quetzal Aeroespacial».

The unmanned aircraft QAE 108-100 began to be developed by a group of Mexican experts in the field of aircraft and aerospace engineering in 2010 year. The new device was primarily of scientific interest, in particular, it was supposed that thanks to its creation, it would be possible to design and develop more advanced and in-demand unmanned aerial vehicles, however, due to the fact that in 2012 the project successfully passed all the required tests, specialists from The company "Quetzal Aeroespacial" decided on a small improvement of the drones and the beginning of its mass production, in which the civil sphere was mainly interested.

Drone Quetzal Aeroespacial has a very narrow scope of its application, in particular, the unmanned aerial vehicle used for reconnaissance flights in difficult terrain, used to identify the drug routes is used to monitor the fire situation, is operated as a patrol and search tools.
