Pteryx - Polish multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle developed in 2010 year.
Design of multi-purpose unmanned air tools was conducted specifically for use in the civil sphere. In fact, the Polish aerospace technology specialists to create a drone capable to carry out aerial photography and aerial survey area, however, in reality, this drone was much more functionality, in particular, the device can be used to perform tasks related to the patrolling area, operated to perform sightseeing flights, used kache5stve search tools and means of geological (geodetic) survey and others.
Polish civilian drone Pteryx has a sufficiently compact design of its fuselage, in particular, when the drone altitude 33 cm length and breadth of its wings respectively 1,4 meters and 2,8 meter that determines the ease of design and enables the launch of the UAV using muscle power.
Unmanned device is equipped with a digital camera, allowing the area to film, but, among other things, the drone is equipped with a special system and also providing the possibility of drawing up plans, three-dimensional terrain and objects located on it.
The power plant is represented by one UAV Pteryx brushless electric motor, which allows the device to develop the airspeed to 160 km \ h. However, the duration of the autonomous flight is limited to two hours, while the operating range drone action is 10 kilometers.
