Design of multi-purpose UAV model Patria MASS started by Finnish designers and specialists in the field of aerospace engineering at the beginning of the year 2010. The new unmanned aerial vehicle to be used for applications in various fields and areas, which largely contributed to its high performance features.

UAV Patria MASS is used to perform aerial survey areas to patrol power lines, gas and oil pipelines, for work related to geological exploration and others. Among other things, the device is equipped with a number of modern radiation sensor that allows us to solve a number of environmental problems, and, in this sector, UAVs Patria MASS is used very often, because there is no need for this, however, with regard to the above-mentioned goals and objectives, the drone is very effective.

UAV Patria MASS model made in the model configuration, which means that the drones can be easily optimized for almost any of the above-identified problems. In addition, the modular design allows unmanned quite simple maintenance of the UAV, and in case of any damage, the device may be subjected to a simple and cost effective repair.

For sufficiently large dimensions, the drone has a very small mass, which allows the device to find a long flight - up to 1,5 hours, while, thanks to the good power plant, Patria MASS drone can reach speeds of up to 120 km \ C., however, the height UAV flight is very very limited and can not exceed 150 meters.

Model UAV Patria MASS is equipped with two types of cameras for conducting active surveillance - electro-optical camera with a high resolution, as well as an infrared camera for surveillance in a labored or restricted visibility, thus, the picture can be sent either directly to the console, or else later handled by copying from a special carrier.
