Let L 410 «Turbolet» - devyatnadtsatimestny versatile twin-engine aircraft for regional airlines. Plane with reduced takeoff and landing characteristics (OHR title L410 UVPE20 Russian acronym meaning "short takeoff and landing") developed by the design bureau Let the plant. Intended for use on grass, ground, snow unprepared sites and in airports with short runways. Produced to date in the Czech plant Let. Other names: Turbolet, years, L410, L410 years, conversational - Elka, Cheburashka.
The history of the production and creation
Design of the aircraft started in 1966 year. The first prototype aircraft equipped with Pratt & Whitney turboprop RT6A27 (2h715l.s.), Passed flight tests 16.04.1969. Regular use of airplanes L410A opened at the end of the first year 1971 Czechoslovak aviation company "Air Words" (Bratislava), kotoarya serves local aviatsionyne line - to the top of 1974 years it has acquired twelve aircraft. Total built 31 plane. 5 aircraft (number and number 72010306 720201) L410A RT6A27 with engines built under the name L410AS a year 1972, 1973 year were transferred to the Soviet Union. Soviet aircraft received registration numbers SSSR67251 - SSSR67255. The first of these led to the airfield Frantisek Mumps, Czech test pilot. Aerodrome people immediately called cute airplane "Cheburashka".
In 1973 year started, flight inspection aircraft L410M, equipped with a Czech theater Walter M601A. L410M became the second batch variation "Turboleta." By the end of 1978 for the Ministry of Civil Aviation of the Soviet Union came a hundred planes L410M / MU.
In 1979 year started production of improved modification L410UVP, which was the main production model. This aircraft differed from previous variants longer fuselage, larger size, and vertical tail wing, the use of spoilers and theater Walter M601V (2h730l.s.). This aircraft has passed a certification program in the Soviet Union and was taken in the use of "Aeroflot". A further development was a variant with more powerful L410UVPE TVDM601E. The first flight of the aircraft took place 30.12.1984. It has superior takeoff and landing performance and reduced noise levels in the cabin. In 1986 certified in the Soviet Union. Modification of L420 with powerful TVDM601 ° F (2h778l.s.), Greater take-off weight (6,8t) and improved lёtnymi properties (flight tests of the aircraft started in 1993 year).
By the early 1992, the Soviet Union remained 750 L410 aircraft.
Used in military and civilian flight schools for pre-training future pilots of military transport and the long-range aviation.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union and CMEA in 1990-ies, he dropped the demand for aircraft L410, and the pace of production fell by more than ten times (from 50 aircraft per year to two to five). The situation has improved significantly since 2008 years 51 when the percentage of shares Let Kunovice (Aircraft Industries) bought the Russian society "Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company." The rate of release in 2010-2012 years amounted to eight to ten aircraft per year. Plans to increase the annual rate of construction to 16-18 aircraft.
In 2013 year modifies L410 UVPE20, equipped with analogue or digital avionics (choice) system, TCAS, autopilot. L410 UVPE20 a type certificate ARMAK.
JSC "Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company" in September 2013 years 49 purchased percent of the company LetKunovice (Aircraft Industries). UMMC thus became the sole owner of the Aircraft Indistries, bringing the stake to 100 percent.
Aerodynamic configuration is a twin-engine turboprop vysokoplan odnokilevym tail feathers.
