I-Sky M6 - Portuguese multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle developed by «I-Skyex».
Design of unmanned aircraft I-Sky M6 conducted by Portuguese experts in the field of aerospace technology specifically for use in the civil sphere, in particular, the device can be used to perform reconnaissance missions, used as patrol and observation means, operated for search operations involved when conducting special reconnaissance (chemical and radiation analysis) and others.
UAV model I-Sky M6 made in the configuration copter - this design enables the system to carry off and landing in conditions of limited terrain, and moreover, also allows to hang over the object under study, which ensures a high efficiency in terms of usage.
Dron I-Sky M6 equipped with six electric brushless motors work together to allow unmanned aerial means speeds of up to 40 km \ h., While the operating range of the UAV shall be limited to 2,5 kilometers, and the maximum duration of the autonomous flight of this device is 40 minutes.
In addition to a digital camera, an unmanned aerial vehicle model I-Sky M6 also equipped with special sensors that allow to capture airborne chemical particles and radiation that it provides a broader scope.
According to 2016 years, two unmanned means I-Sky M6 are in service in the Armed Forces of Portugal, while the main scope of the drone falls on the civil sphere.
