HAES Scanner - Czech Multipurpose civil UAV, designed in 2005 year.
Design of multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle was initiated by Czech experts at the end of 2003 years. At its core, an unmanned aerial vehicle HAES Scanner model is a radio-controlled aircraft equipped with a number of special devices, providing an opportunity for monitoring the situation on the ground, however, in contrast to conventional radio-controlled models, UAV HAES Scanner is equipped with two types of cameras, allowing to observe in virtually any time of day, and everything else, the drone can reach flight speeds of up to 80 km \ h., and stay aloft for up to two hours.

UAV HAES Scanner is designed to monitor the situation on the roads, to monitor the fire situation, to undertake geological mapping, patrol power lines and oil and gas pipelines. UAV HAES Scanner can not be used for drawing district maps due to the limited range, in particular, the maximum distance of the flight is limited to a distance in kilometers 6.5, however, the drone also has a small height of its flight, which is 1 km.
UAV is equipped with electro-optical high-resolution camera and an infrared camera, and, drone control can be carried out at the direct control of the operator, and in the semi-autonomous mode, which to some extent simplifies the operation process of the drone.
Czech UAV HAES Scanner is equipped with rotary engine with a capacity of 11 hp, which is one of the main reasons that this drone is capable of high speed of its flight.
