Among other things, after the completion of the development, it was supposed to develop another, more powerful modification of this aircraft, however, due to the expected significant increase in cost, the design work was closed.

As of mid-2015 years, 6 aircrafts of this model were built, including also three prototypes produced during the development phase, with production of aircraft continues to this day, though in fact, orders for the model of Diamond D-Jet are absent - for some information, the company manages to produce about 1-2 aircraft per year.
